Default 4-1 header w/ SOHC VTEC

hey ya'll!
i'm thinking about getting the kamikaze 4-1 header for my 94 accord ex.

my current engine mods are including intake and exhaust(muffler only).

what kind of performance should i be expecting??
would i lose the low end or something???

is there any modification needs to be done to make that fit onto the OEM setup?

please advise~
thanks

I don't know where you're hearing DC is good. I've owned 2 DC headers and they were pure crap. Although they were both stainless steel, they both rusted at the flanges and developed internal rattles (I don't know why I got the second one). My friend has a DC 4-1 on his B16 Si and hates it. I think anyone else here will tell you DC is trash too. The cheaper, ceramic coated ones are actually more durable but the quality of their products is just sub-par. The welds look good but I don't know anyone that has a good experience with DC. I don't know about Kamikaze, but seems like another poser brand.

Well there's some 5th gen Accord guy here with a Hi-Tech header.
I thought he was from VA too. Oh I think he's got a H22 swap. http://hi-techexhaust.com/

Yeah I've only HEARD good stuff about them. They seem like a "mom and pop" opperation though. Doesn't seem like a large organization, so I can't imagine their research and development is too extensive.

This is the only message board I visit that talks about the Kamikaze header. If u go to any other Honda board and ask about it i dont think ur going to find alot of people who have even heard of it.

As far as DC Sports goes, they are extremely popular but i hear too many complaints about the quality. They crack etc

What about Greddy?

Greddy was mentioned by me above. I think Greddy headers and exhausts are great and have never heard anyone bad-mouth them. I've got a Greddy header now and love it, it makes a DC header (of which I've owned 2 , both failed) look like a child's toy. I've owned two Greddy exhausts (had to replace the first one because it got too loud after 6 years and 100,000 miles).
