Need to know what I need for H22 Swap into a crx
Hey need to know what I need for a h22a motor 2 fit into my 91 crx - i have a complete swap what else do i need besides motor mounts - let me know thanks - every input is appreciated !!!
There are those who are working on a bolt-in kit (like HCP) but there is still some cutting welding needed, granted, as the engine bay is not as big as an EG/DC/EK engine bay. The distance from shock tower to shock tower is about an inch or so narrower on the EF/DA than on the EG/DC/EK, and less clearance from the firewall and the radiator support. But the main issue of clearane is the framerail. The EF/DA framerails hang low and connect to a front crossmember...... the EG/DC/EK don't have a front crossmember so there's plenty of room to clear the crank pulley and transmission housing. There are also other things to consider, depending on what kit you're using, such as radius rods, crossmember, hood clearance, axles, etc.
hmm... i should just let this one go, but oh well... here it is...
