Ive got a jdm gsr S80 tranny with factory lsd that came with my swap and Im not sure where I should go from here. I dont know if I should just sell it and get and ITR tranny (not sure which year from the specs looks like 98 up is the best) Or Ive never looked into trannies much, but would it be just as easy for me to get a 98 up jdm itr second and third gear and a b16 fourth gear and just keep my fifth for highway cruising? Anyone know how much a setup like that would cost?

 

you won't be able to change 2nd gear unless you swap mainshafts, you can actually use the 3/4 gears(counter and mainshaft) from 00 si or 98+ ITR! hope that helps

 

Well I guess I'll just sell it and go with a 98 up itr tranny then. Even with the hassle of putting in an ats 4.9 final drive in my gsr the itr would still be better I think and cheaper. Anyone have any idea what gsr tranny's with factory lsd go for?
