from D17 to K20
About a month ago i pulled a K20a3 from a base model RSX (same engine in the new si if im not mistaken.) Anyway i took prety much every thing that hasport said that i need to do the swap. but i was just wondering if there were any little things that they left out in there list that i might need? I have the engine, tranny, shifter, shiftlinkage, sub-frame, ecu, one axel, I even took the fuel pump assembly and the seats. Any info is greatly appreicated.

Ok, im gonna try and be nice about this...but HASport SUCKS!! The instructions that come with the mounts...throw them away. The list on parts that you need is missing a bunch of stuff. I will try and help you out as best i can. you need:
Engine Tranny
ECU
Subframe
2002 Civic Si axles
HASport mounts (they have to be modified to work in the car, just some cutting)
shifter assembly
shifter cables
throttle and cruise cables
Wire harness (good luck on the modification of this)
2002 Civic Si Raditor with hoses
Custom radiator fan work (2002 Civic Si fans might work)
P/S hose
P/S resivior
P/S resivior mount
Header + downpipe + cat converter
Exhaust will have to be modified
Clutch hard and soft line (the hard line will have to be modified)
Clutch hardline fitting and pin for the master cylinder (this will **** you off if you dont have this)
Fan switch
Thats most of what you need...i will post if i think of anything else.

so since your saying that the hasport info sucks, do you have any information you feel as to be absolutely correct that you could share with me, im intrested in this swap into a EK and if ur saying hasport sucks and i still have to cut **** etc, i gotta find another company to deal with or something....
What did you do about the imobolizer in the ECU. Did you go to honda and have the key flashed to work with ECU or have the imobolizer removed from it? Is there any where that i can send a ECU to have it tested to see if it works. When i pulled it out of the car, water came out of it.
