Default which year civic HB have black center taillight piece?

Just wondering, because the piece in between the lights on mine is red, but Ive seen some cars w/ black ones.

yea what he said the stopped making the black center peice in 90 when they swithed it to red..........

my 91 DX came with the red centerpiece, i traded my brother for his 91 STD black center piece and im happy with it. I like how it matches the black trim, black mirrors, black lip, and black door handles.
