Default Modified Mirrors....

Has anybody ever modified any OEM honda mirrors on the rex or hatch? I cant stand the fact that I cant fold my mirros. People here in NY drive close to parked cars..... Just trying to see if I can modify any OEM foldable mirrors. TIA!

Is it true you can modify aftermarket 94-97 accord mirrors and just drill holes? I heard you dont need to trim the mirrors at all. Basically drill new holes and it mounts up? Anyone know?

You can fold and keep the mirros folded.
If you don't mind carrying an allen wrench with you.
Fold the mirror all the way back and you'll see a hole that goes all the way through the mechanism. I put an allen wrench through it so it's easy to pull out.
Crappy picture, but it shows how it works.

Has anyone got the JDM mirrors to work so you can see right in a USDM car?

Why the hell are people hi-jacking my thread. All I asked for was if anyone knew which foldable mirrors they can modify or find fake spoon mirrors.

go get the JDM mirrors that fold.

You can either wire it up to a button so you can just push a button to fold it or wire it up to your alarm.

That sounds like an awesome idea. Don't the JDM mirrors fold closer to the window than the US ones folded w/ the allen bolt?? (sorry if you think I'm hi-jackin' your thread, I have the same problem down my street and parking lots.)

I did see them go as low as 200 on ebay...for complete setup. But I can see your point.....$200 plus shipping vs. $0

Well arent there just the power jdm mirrors that are power moving but still do fold manualy? I am sure you can get those for quite a bit cheaper than the power folding ones?? But then again those are still kind of expensive. So how much you looking to spend cause any mirror is going to cost you a bit.

Like $50 bucks.... I can always go to a U-Pull It junkyard and can spend like $20 for a pair of mirrors. Its just I dont know which ones I should get. I'm also not looking for power mirrors. I'm only looking for the option to fold them.
