Default 1990 CRX doin a JDM b16

Ok, here is the problem i have a 1990 CRX dx, and bought a B16a motor swap with the pr3 ecu. I just want to know if anyone can tell me every little extra piece im goin to need to do the swap.
like changing it from dual point to multi point fuel ignition.
i need to do this swap in one day with no real downtime cause this is my work car and i need it up and running. so if anyone can help with the parts i will need. or some good helpful advice with the swap i will appreciate it. thanks alot guys.

Well I hate to give you bad news, But there is no way you are going to have this thing down one day. You will need to already have the new motor mounts, shift linkage, you will also need the 90-93 Integra axles, plus you have some wiring to do once the engone is in.... your dx isprobably a dual port injection insted of multi port so you will have to completely re wire the injectors add the vtec wiring knock sensor and so on and so on....If you had three days and already have everything you could probably do it

I agree, maybe you should do two seperate jobs, convert to multi port on one weekend then on another weekend do the swap but here are some good links.

It's more involved than just wiring up 2 injectors. You need to add in the resistor box and actually rewire all 4 injectors in a different manner. Run wires into the cabin to the ECU for the extra injectors, Cylinder Position sensor, swap outer wires on the TPS, that's just the MPFI part. You also need to add wires for the VTEC solenoid, VTEC pressure switch, secondary O2 and knock sensor.
If this is your first swap, I seriously doubt you will have everything done in one day. That's pretty hard to do, I know because I've done it a few times. If it were a direct swap with minimal wiring then I would say you could pull it off. I would start on a Friday night and plan to get it done by Sunday night, that's more feasible

what little problems are common to encounter? and what are the answers the the problems. im buying the 92 gsr upper radiator hose, 90 integra lower radiator hose, and 90 integra throttle cable. and new timing belt, and altenator belt. just trying to get everything i need ahead of time. the only problem im worrying about is the wiring. but im hoping to get it figured out and pretty much done before i perform the swap.

1) Take the crank pulley off before you drop the motor in.
2) Don't put the shift linkage on backwards
3) Make a 1/2" deep dent in the frame rail right in front of the left front shock tower for alternator pulley clearance
4) Don't forget to hook up the return fuel line

If you use that harness, all you need to wire is the Knock Sensor, 2nd O2 sensor, VTEC Solenoid, VTEC Pressure Switch, and VTEC Pressure Switch Ground.

Always prepare for the worst. Thats something I learned when doing my own work on my car. I highly doubt you will finish in one day. Swapping a motor is a delicate process. If you rush it you will have some major problems either during or after the install. You need to do alot of research before you tackle a huge job. AND DONT RUSH. Good luck.

This is very true, I was planning on having mine done in 2 days. A chipped crank pulley and the rear engine mount and rear engine bracket slowed me down dreastically. I ended up finishing Sunday, but the thermostat was stuck closed. I finally drove it home Monday night.
