DC (Integ) radiator in a EF?
anyone have done this? I have one here and im planning to swap in, but has anyone done this before? from the looks of it it looks like a tight fit (B16 EF Hatch) but i want to do it so i can use my hatch radiator in my CRX...so anyone know anything regarding?
I'm using the itr radiator in my EF hatch.
I figured it'd be good, since it came with the motor I swapped in.
Problem is, the mounting brackets aren't in the same place on the underside - so there's some work to be done in cutting them off and rewelding them on in the proper place.....
The other issue is getting your stock fans to work right. It's a PITA, and the EF/ si radiator is almost exactly the same in dimensions. BUT, I'm doing it just to be cool and say I have an itr radiator.
I'm actually cutting the hood out so I don't have to do anything about cutting the lower support brackets. I'm just cutting the underside of the hood to clear the motor and the radiator cap (which sticks up like a ****).
I'll try to post pics in a few days. I don't have access to a digicam currently.....

Hey there hows it goin i did a search and was reading that you have an h22 in your crx...im goin to be doing this swap really soon i can fab my own mounts and what not the only question i have is what do i do for the wiring. i have a 89 dx hatch? should buy a obd-0 to obd-1 jumper harness, go and buy a obd-0 si wiring harness and adapted it to the obd-1 harness that i made for my 93 hatch... then runn all the extra wires i need such as vtec and so on and so forth....and help would greatly be appreciated....thx
i just put a 92 integra rad. in my zc hatch, and it pretty much fit fine, i used the civic fan, it ALMOST fit right, so close it wasnt even funny. i had to massage the mounts on top a bit, i made a new mount on the drivers side from a nissan rad. mount and the pass side one i just made new holes so it would sit bad a bit from the core support. i put this radiator in because it is twice as thick as the civic one, wider than the standard radiator, and after the headwork i just did the car ran a little too hot for the stocker.
ya man post some pics up when u get a chance ....an rergarding the h22 EF i only actually drove the car for 2 weeks only after 2 months of trying to get the car running... the wrining mine was alos a DX and i went to SI FIRST, then i made a jumper from obd0 to obd1, and after messing with all the wires and haveing everything hooked up i had the engine running, but that was easy i had issues with the shifting cables i had to move them around for like 3 days straight till i got the perfect spot and it shifted into all gears perfectly and the only advice i can give you there is to play with the location of the shifting assy. but i mean i onyl had the car running for 2 weeks then one night when i was at my girls house a drunk driver in a f250 smashed the hell out of the car and left the tailights right next to the seats shitty thing there is i only got 2500 from the insurance company but the only good thing is that i got the car back and i pulled out the swap and put it in this car that i am currently selling
