Default Accord drives like a boat...

My gf got a 92 accord LX. For some reason the car controls like a boat. For ex. When it hit a pothole, the car sounded like its about to fall into 1000000 pieces and when i let go of the steering wheel, it pulls to the right. We went for alignment, the mechanic did some adjustment. It feels the same. When we go back the 2nd time to check, they say the engine mount is bad. Everything is stock. Any clue where I can start checking from ? Thanks for the help.

could be bad tie rods, but i think the mechanic would have pointed that out when he aligned it.

Could be a number of things: Bushings, shock absorbers, coil springs, sway bar broken, hell even a critical part of the frame could be rusted, making it a lot less rigid.

checked out the condition of bushings lately - I can almost bet that's your problem - which would also include the motor mount bushings.
