Default Car won't start ... I ran over a fat ditch .. ?

I ran over a ditch last week and coolant started leaking like crazy. So I'm like Oh ****, my radiator. I wasn't far from home so anyways I keep driving and then next thing I know my car loses power, then stalled, then died. I tried to start it up but it won't crank. I'm thinking it's my distributor but I'm not really sure. I need a 2nd opinion. It doesn't crank and makes a weird sound when i'm trying to start it. If it is my distributor, how much would it cost to buy another one and can I install it myself ? Any links on How-To's ?

Car is a 90 Crx Si' ... Thanks for any help !!

Ummm...if it was leaking coolant and you kept driving it, there is nothing there to cool the engine down. Did the engine start to smoke?

the ditch i ran over wasn't really big but i know i messed up my radiator. Yeah, smoke did come out when the car died. I also checked underneath the car and everything seems to be in order. I have no clue how to check the codes, any tips ?

move your passenger carpet (where your ECU is located) look at the little window - you'll see it, turn the key to the on position, it WILL flash one time no matter what, so don't count that one. After it does the one flash it will start to flash constantly - count them

then once you get the number, go here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=468260

also, have you checked your oil? it might be possible you messed up your oil pan and leaked a lot of oil... that would really suck

so long as everything under looks good.....and the ECU checks out good...then my next suspicion would be overheating caused something really funky?

yeah dude to fix theis problem buy a new engine and dont drive it without coolant. when my firneds laser had a rod knock, he let me try to blow the engine for him for $5 and i tried and after holding it at 6k for about 5 mins, the rpms dropped and it stalled. i tried to start it and all it did was crank and *slowly* cranked. it was basically siezed up. sounds like almost the same happened to u,
