My AEM seemed to work fine until a friend of mine went to pull the vacuum line off it and the nipple broke off. I just bought a B&M but I'm considering trying to fix the AEM and sell the other one. I've heard it mentioned a few times that I'd be better off with the AEM.

The problem with the B&M and Ericks, they won't flow enough fuel to drop idle pressure when using a 255 LPH HP pump.

This tends to make them stick/hang open. Which is BAD news when your spraying/boosting.

PLEASE explain more..
what part sticks/hangs open?
why would it be bad for FI/nos setup?

Magnaflow or Aeromotive ... I would go with the Mag first, we run the 9950 on Duc's 700whp+ EJ6, Ralph's 600rwhp RX-7, and his ~1000rwhp Supra (those are all supporting built FI setups along with Pro Star 600 EFI pumps) and they all work GREAT... MagnaflowFPRs

when it sticks open, you won't notice it at idle. You end up bypassing all fuel back to the tank. The Walbro 255 HP pump can keep up and you'll never notice, AT IDLE!

But when you got to make a run, VERY low fuel pressure, like 15-20 psi when you need 50-60 psi.

Leanout and MELTDOWN.

i actually got mine from some company that builds air planes, i guess that they are the same regulators that they use for the planes. i got it for like around $200. a little exspensive, but i do believe that you can get an airimotive one from summit for like $125, the airimotive and sx are pretty much from the same exact regulator. i also saw an sx regulator for sale in the classifieds like a week ago, i don't remeber the price though.

my sx one is conected to the fuel rail right at the very end, all you need is a 1/2 in. to 10 an fitting and you'll be good.

The same problem happened with the AEM FPR that i bought a while back, except when i put on the BENEN TRI POD bar, it broke off the nipple port for the vacum hose. Does anyone know a place that can fix this, besides sending it back to AEM? I already talked to a local shop and they said that it's my fault and AEM won't cover it.
