anyone else?......i was thinking the b16 hatch would be faster because it has more mods....oh yeah the b16 has cam gears too. Ive beaten the b18c hatch just barely though. it was at the track...he was catching me on top end.....his car was faster but my car was quicker through the traps.
Which driver has more skill? Are both cars running strong? Is either having a clutch problem? There's too many factors to consider, they'll be close, that should be a sufficient answer.
too many factors, the gearing in the b16 is better so it would help and with all the mods it should be quicker but gutting the car.... If you are planning on betting for a race, I would be willing to bet the b16 knows something the GSR dont ya know

i have a similiar setup to the b16 in my 92 si..........full leather interior and stereo wich consists of one 4 channel amp, my car hit 14.1@98mph........my buddy has a 92 si also, it had a jg victor manifold on it.....and a b16 tranny.......he hit a 14.2 with 5 lug........and full leather also......so it's kinda a toss up, i'd leave it to the driver

this car is a cx....im not shure if he has the pistons for shure or the type r tranny ....but i guess he was ran 14.5's i would think he would be faster than that with pistons and a tranny dont you think? I also heard the head was p/p but then i heard that was just bullshit so i dont think this guy is too credable
Your supposed to lie and say you dont have stuff when you really do have the stuff not the other way around

when he was runnin 14.5's what was his trap speed...that will tell u if his car was makin some good HP...but my guess i will say the gutted hatch wit the b18 in it will be the faster one...if its light and open header u should be able to go 13's...i dont see y not...on street tires

It's a drivers race.
There is no such thing as a race with identical driver skill etc... When two cars have very similar power to weight ratios, driver skill will be the deciding factor.
