Hi,

I just picked up a mint set of DC5-R recaros w/ sliders and brackets for DC5, but I want to put them in my DC2 integra.

I tried the rails and they don't fit, they are too short. What kind of rails can I get to make them fit? What kind of rails can I get, and where can I get them?

Please if anyone knows, I need to put these seats in my car soon, no space at home.

The DC5 Recaros are bottom mount and 6 bolts per seat, 2 on the top, 1 on the bottom on each side.

why not get the jdm dc2-r seats?

 

I had the problem of swapping new seats into older cars... The brackets does not fit and does not allow you to just up and go... Instead, I had to mod the holes to make the bolts line up... This may take some work...

 

DC5's are more snug.

 

I was at the SEMA show this week and the people in the Racaro booth said that the rails you are looking for are available from any Recaro dealer. The factory Honda seats are the same as the ones they sell as aftermarket, only the fabric is different.

 

Take the rails off your DC seats, and swap them over to the DC5.
