ok.. i did this with parts a few times with friends on the west coast.. it would be great to say that all the people here were honest.. we all know this isnt true.. so heres an idea.. theres people from all over the us on the h-t bbs right.. why no start a small delivery & pickup process.. if someone want to sell a part.. they post it on h-t right.. then have a proven seller from whatever area pick up the part and ship it.. then the proven seller can post ship dates & times.. yea its a hassle and there are places that are hard to get to .. but i bet its better off paying the proven seller a few extra bucks to avoid getting ripped off like we see on here daily..

for example if im selling something at my house just south of pittsburgh id go to a proven seller in the pittsburgh area.. give him the part and have him collect the money first then ship it.. say 20 bucks to proven seller + 5 extra bones to have the proven seller pack and ship it.. id pay an extra 30 bucks to know that im going to get what i paid for.. for those of you who are HONEST & need extra $$$ this could be a good thing.. what if you are the proven seller of an area who ships alot of parts.. 25 bucks for 20 minutes of your time.. what if you ship 10 items a week?

this may not need to happen for small stuff.. but for turbo's and high dollar items.. this may not be a bad idea.. a friend of mine lives in japan he ships things to me us mail and i either deliver or ship them to customers all the time.. i charge 15-30 dollars per item.

That's just nuts! Way too much work involved.. Why not have classifieds for east coast/midwest/west coast. Since tos says you can ship, no need to go even further to north west, south west, etc.. Probably won't get done but it's an idea..

 

actually. thats a great idea......but realistically i jus dont see it happening.

 

...or you could just use an escrow service. Seems like less work for everyone involved and you're just as protected.

Get your friend in japan to get me an ef9 rear led spoiler and then ship it to you and then ship it to me.

 

not a bad idea in theory. but I think a "relay" concept would be even better.. hehe.. free shipping! haha, seriously, this s a decent idea, and I would participate.

 

way to much work involved for that in My opinion. Just deal with honest people and there will not be any problems. I've never been scammed here

 

i try not to buy anything expensive unless i can pick it up and pay cash.
