h22 turbo EG daily driver-- any cooling problems?
i was just wondering if you guys are having any cooling problems with your civic radiators with the h22 turbos. I'm an accord guy and was thinking of putting a thick aftermarket civic radiator in my 94 accord for more space for turbo but i'm afraid of any cooling issues. stupid idea? thanks for the help
No cooling issues whatsoever, and I had to deal with temps over 100 degrees this summer, and even then, and boosting,.... and idling through traffic, I have had ZERO cooling issues. Works great. C&R radiator with SPAL fan.
we're using a fluidyne radiator with a cheap autozone low pro fan and no cooling issues...we also have a oil cooler for added protection
i have aftermarket dual core...nothing fancy radiator...with slim aftermarket external fan........would a dual core..just like upgraded radiator handle a h22 turbo? or would i have to upgrade to like a c&r or something like u guys mentiond above...

i've daily driven my friends h22 eg for about a month now. its got a single civic radiator with upgraded fan. its pegged at the middle. never below or above.
yeah mine runs cold as hel..and all i have is a standard dual core radiator with upgraded electric slim fan...but i just wonder if that would be enough for a turbo kit on top of things.....
