Default B16a1 in CRX Starting issues with the p30? see insisde. . .

Ok heres the low down , my friends CRX DX has a b16a1 in it . the wiring harness is a CRX si harness.
the problem is when we put the obd0-obd1 harness in from Locash and put the P30 in it wont crank over.
We put the reg CRX si Ecu in and it fires right up , but obviously not the same power levels and Vtec. Could there be an issue with the injector harness and the impredance levels.
locash told him to just unplug the box and splice the wires together.
could that b the issue?

Lemme know thanks.

It sounds like locash is steering you in the right direction;however, for your obd 1 ecu to funtion properly you will need to take out the inj.resistor box, and install the plug for the new O2 sensor.
I recommend taking off the CRX engine harness, so you can solder in the fuel injection/ power distribution block that is found on obd 1 civic /integras it can be found by the driver side back of the fire wall.
The obd1 fuel injector has two wires One wire is a 12 volt power source. You can get the power needed for the pwr. block if " i recall." the yel/blk wire from the wiring of the old obd0 resistor box. You will see this wire as you unistall the resistor box.

so are we assuming that the obd1 inectors arent evben getting a power source at all to pulse them ?
I wish i could explain more about it , but they did the wiring when i wasnt around and i didnt even have a chance to look at it yet, so im just going on the little info they are telling me
any i didnt cath the part about the 02 sensor?

use your obd0 injectors. when i tried to put in the obd1 injectors with no resistor box only one of them would work.

Obd 1 o2 sensor is heated and has four wires. The obd 0 o2 is not heated and has only two wires.
