Default Need your help and suggestions....

Ok, yesterday was a bit cold so I decided to turn up the heat. I'm sure this is a common probelm for all EFs. The stupid temp **** broke off and so did a piece of metal that was holding the ****. What the hell can I do now to fix this? I notice that accords do the same as well. My girls 92 accord did the same thing. TIA guys!

Now that winter is here.

Remove both cable ends as described below.

The first one is behind the center console....

as for the other.....

Open the hood and right against the firewall, find the 2 heater hoses that come from inside the car.

1 hose will have a valve on it with a metal cable attached to it.

Unclip the little metal bracket that holds the cable.

Unhook the cables' end from the valve.

Turn the valve by hand. (on way or the other)
