its the same looking as the 90-91 only differ is the corner light and bumper lights..

 

yeah i know they look the same but they are not identical and i want to see the difference also i haven't seen a std all i see is dx and si

I'm honestly curious how nothing came up when you searched? Isn't there a whole picture posting thread somewhere with nothing but 4th gen civics?

 

what is that civic std,dx or si, i found that fourm and it was civics and crxs but the thing is that
1)they didnt say what year
2)if it was a std,dx or si
thats why i started this fourm so i can get pics of an 88 std.

since most ppl w/ stds don't like the look of it, i'll break down the difference in std's and the others...
Stds have no wiper on back, black bumpers, black middle pc on the light, vinyl seats, no pass. mirror (dx also) and that's all I can think of.

 

what is a pass mirror?

they dont come with that? that is weird, i guess thats y they are so light, is that a 88? do you guys know how much a dx and std weigh?

i believe the 88 STD is a little under 2,000 lbs. I do know it is the lightest of all the hatchbacks in the time frame. Also they didn't come with the passanger mirror stock, but was an option at the time so you may find some with it.
Also STD's came with 70hp motors with 4spd MT
