Well, I am a new member to the site and was just wondering if anyone could give me a price range that I should offer for this car. I can't post in the classifieds so I am posting here instead. Its an 89' civic dx hatch, nasty gold color, 168,xxx miles, manual shift, bone stock, needs new front and rear fender, dent in front driver side above the wheel. Needs work and most-likely an engine swap and tranny swap. I was wondering what engine comes stock in this model car and what I should offer the guy for it since I want a project car and I happen to have a good friend in town who has a shop for this kind of stuff. If you were at the atl meet last month I guess maybe you saw one of his cars. It was a burgandy civic with carbon fiber hood, rims, the works basically. Nos, custom interior with roll cage, flip down lsd tv, had a sticker on it somewhere that said ak performance since thats the name of his shop, he is from texas. i would offer no more than $950-1200, thats about max i would pay for a car in that shape
