ECHC championships on the line....
Unlike last year, there isn't quite so much drama for the championships.
H1: Evans already clinched since he has a 26 point lead.
H2: If Corey can win both races, Franza needs 10 points total to beat Corey for the crown.
H3: Even though he is only 5 points up, Ratcliffe should have it easily so long as he doesn't have mechanical failures. He hasn't finished below first in class all year.
H4: Lionel already clinched with a 27 point lead.
H5: Edwards clinches so long as he finishes both races to be eligible.

I think it's funny to make a big deal about such silly little championships.
After all these are just a bunch of little people driving around in stupid fwd Honda cars.
Oh, everybody is a "racer". Oh, "I'm goin for the championship".
Puh-leeze!
Good luck to all. Safety first, then fun, then victory.
Scott, who is just a little envious of those whose seasons aren't over yet....could you tell?

Notice how much more sparse the points table is this year compared to last year.
H5 is is just sad, esp considering there have been no less then 5 fine H5 cars going for under $5000.

I will be at the NASA event to watch the races. I am new to this forum but have been racing Spec Racers in SCCA for the past two years.
I just bought the car pictured below to run in H4 next year. Look forward to meeting some of you.

Matt,
Just picked the car up from Nonnamaker racing last weekend and it needs some stuff replaced that I haven't had time to get to (just about all the suspension bushings and a few other things).
In current form it has the base LS motor (good for about 140 hp).
Look forward to meeting some of you.

Jon

So did you buy everyone in the paddock a cordless impact yet?
Welcome aboard. Now if I only had a tow vehicle and trailer, I'd buy the other integra

Ahh....Andrew..
Looks like another Audi owner like myself got sucked into this Honda thing!!!!
Are you planning to race the CRX?
Until I sell the other race car the savings have yet to materialize but......
I did find some Honda rotors on the internet for $39 bucks with free shipping. Simply unbelievable what I have been spending to have fun at the track!

Yep.....I thnk the S4 is retiring for the most part.
The CRX has a long ways to be near ready for any racing so in the meantime it's gonna be a tracking/autoxing car. So now it looks like you'll be lapping me 5 times a session rather than 2 times
Whoa....which car are you selling? The farrari or the m5?
H4 huh? If youre still out then in 2 years, I'll see you there.
I can't believe how cheap parts are for our cars! I bought a set of brand new wheels for $350!!! I could buy 2 SETS of wheels for my CRX for the same price as just ONE wheel for my S4.

Very cool.
Stop by and introduce yourself. I won't have the H3 car with me, but look for me near Franza's H2 Type R in a big white Suburban. A Suburban full of trophies

$39? Eep! Go get them from Autozone for a whole lot less. My ITR rotors are $25 each for the fronts.
See ya tomorrow.

Man, this just get's better and better. $25 !!!! I can afford to replace these puppies every two or three sessions.
Warren, which car are you racing?
Andrew, unfortunetally it's the F car for sale. Owned the car for about 5 years and it's too costly to run and now that I can actually drive the darn thing pretty fast there is no one to play with anymore. It's too costly to race.
I would never sell the M5 since a) I doubt anyone would want it AND b) it's fun watching people scratch their heads wondering what's under the hood.
Hope to see everybody Sat. or Sunday.

Ya know, John, you could just stick to SRF's and that M5. That would be peachy.
