I here ya. It does suck sifting through everything, but the only thing I could think is to try to request everyone to list their state in the title of the thread. But it won't happen so I guess you'll have to take the time to look at every thread.

But I'll be the first to admit that it does get frustrating.

If you think about it though, if everybody listed their location in the title we wouldn't get those "need a car in BLAH,BLAH,BLAH" posts. Trust me I'm guilty of putting up a few of those threads and getting zero response.

I'm gonna zip this thread off to a mod and see what they have to say.

yea it sucks finding the perfect car youve been looking for then you look at where the cars located and you almost stab your self in the face with a pop can because the car is all the way across the states

they should make it a h-t law to post state in the ad

i hear you guys. it also sucks that when you try to search for lets say "NJ or NY" it won't let you because its too short.

how about if all posts now are required to be written as:

"NEW JERSEY - F/S b18c civic"

or

"CALIFORNIA - JDM bird ****"

WOW. I didn't know we'd get such a good response to this. I guess we're not the only ones out there. I did report this thread to a moderator. Hopefully, we'll get some good feedback.

yeah, i'm with you guys, i searched so many adds and loved a bunch of cars but they are too far. so i had to do a wanted add. it would be easier if people listed state in the title or if it was searchable or something.

I totally agree with this... there have been so many times that I've seen a car only to find out that its on the other side of the country... and half the time people don't put where they are anyways...

bump for a good idea

Not being able to find the state easily is the main reason I stopped searching here for a car.
