my headlight lenses are pitted all to hell from my .161 million miles
anyone know if it's possible to just buy new clear lenses instead of the whole assembly?
the dealer wouldn't just sell the lens
is it possible to polish them back to their original state?
i know i could sand them down smoother than they originally were, but i'm afriad of getting them clear again

any suggestions?

 

cant remember off hand if the 3rd gen lenses are glass or plastic. if they are plastic there is a tip at http://www.g2ic.com that shows you how to refresh headlights ( take in mind this is for the 1 peice headlights for a gen 2) but if they are plastic than you could apply what u read off of g2ic

 

3M Plastic Polish may help as well, never tried it but am going to this evening.

i just polished them today
started with 400 grit then went to 1200, 1500, and then 2000

Then i used 3M finishing compound II

it's freakin amazing
you'd think i bought new light assemblies
