Plaque says:

Is this a vin plaque from a real jdm itr?

Sounds real. Do you have a pic of the plate itself? They have fake ones out there now.

at the buttom of that there should be a stamping.

Oh without a doubt. That is surely authentic........if you want look on ebay right now. There is guy selling a dc2 jdm type r who has the exact same pic you have.
