Hf distributor on SI motor?

Default Hf distributor on SI motor?

would it work the same with an 88 HF distributor on an 88 Si motor? i kinda thought they would since they're both MPFI... but i wasnt sure. so will it?

ok thanx jonGP4! oh and just another question... my friend is running a 91 Si distributor on his 91 LS motor... is this ok? and would this also work the same with a 92 ls motor?

The Si distributor will be ok on the 91 LS motor, but it won't work on the 92 motor unless the 92 motor will be run with a 90-91 ecu.

just to clarify a few things. a d16a6 (obd0 MPFI) distributor will work on an LS, but it wont bolt on properly and needs to be rigged. and another thing, if you make a direct comparison, the HF distributor has a different coil.. it will work, but the number is lower, which leads me to belive the HF has a weaker coil.

yup he's right, I ran a LS dizzy on my A6 with a PR4 ECU and worked like a charm. To let you know you'll be dumping more fuel so if your going to boost it this would be a good idea.
