C56 = 156 octane? WHOA!
I wonder if you still have to do the same maintenance as running straight alky? (Flush everything out, etc etc?) Or would the gasoline mix help keep it in check?
And how much for a 55 gallon drum?
I'm gonna try it in my stock Civic!

c56 is 120 octane, and I believe it is not a mix of alchy, it is has a faster burning rate,than c16, but a higher octane rate, I believe scranton, and ligenfelter, both used it. Jason

Is it only allowed in NHRA pro class? I got this from the website:
Page 55 (eff 7/28/03)
Fuel: Add "VP C56/Import racing gasoline permitted on 4 cylinder/2rotor only."
Now, for hotrod it only states:
"Only methanol, NHRA accepted ethanol or NHRA accepted racing gasoline permitted."
Didnt those guys from Ground Zero use that stuff on their car?

I believe gz used torco nos 120 octane rating...., I think this fuel will benefit higher compresion, high boost motors, not general street motors, but you can experiment and see, I know it is around 17 bucks a gallon so better, make atleast 50 more hp, to be worth it, or you might as well spray the motor for extra hp...? Jason
you said ducs motor is using 120 ocatane in the orginal post, and I thought you said torco, in the video portion here is the quote from page 3
"The car runs 120 octane with hug pump and lines.
You can belive what you want but it is true ADAM (KATAKU 2K3) will be posting the video of the 712 run tonight. We have no reason to lie about the setup.".... I was not pulling 120 out of now where... I know duc was not making 712 on 110 octane....Jason

I know MSP uses it/sells it --testing for the fuel was done w/ the v8 turbonetics celica last year and ive seen/ heard itll give up to 124ish octane reading --some techs this year have not passed it due to its make up
