yea i know i can get some pipe and make my own for cheap, but i dont have a pipe bender, and the autopower seems to fit really nicely. going cheap isnt my first answer for safety

90% of the people on here probably cannot weld correctly.

Also, I believe the autopower bars are more of a "show" bar than a safety bar.

yes i can weld took 4 years of it but I dont know if I trust my self welding something that has to hold up to extreme pressures such as a roll over, the only reason im kinda weird about this is because i had an accident at over 100mph, so im kinda freakish about safety

if you took 4 years of welding and arent certain that your welds will hold, maybe you are in the wrong profession.

no im just saying id rather have someone that has been building cages for a living that are certified than do it myself, I know i can weld a water tight seal, but I really dont want to take a chance with my safety or someone riding with me if I happen to make a mistake on one weld, and this isnt my profession, Im a laser technician by profession, this is just a hobby.

Pipe is for transporting fluids and gas, cages and roll bars are made from tubing!

Autopower is nice and very safe, http://www.dgtrials.com had a nice groupbuy going on before, might ask about that.

you'r totally right here, I mean, there is not only the weld that make a cage safe, calculated angle and pressure should have been done and well done too. max pressure point in case of rollover and lateral impact must be take seriously.

Looks nice, other than the whole bolting though the rollbar part. Wrap-around for proper safety!

I helped a friend install an autopower roll bar on his CRX and the bar got in the way of closing the doors.
I think maybe he had the wrong bar for his CRX. Does it get in the way of the door panels?

89-91 panels will not fit, the bar was designed around an 88 CRX with the belts in the pillars, not the doors.

I've gotta second this... wrap around is correct for safety. Just wanna look out for my fellow honda owner.

Why am I sadly misinformed. Dont let your ego get too big, Mr. perfect. I never once said they were. I said I believe, as I thought I remember someone saying something like that.
