Question on Skunk2 Cams
Ok, today I am getting my skunk2 cams, valve springs and titanium retainers.. should i adjust my cam gears back to stock? or leave them how they are.. also should i do any adjustments on my v-afc?? any input would be greatly appreciated.. I have a lot of other things(hi-flo cat, jdm 4-1, 64mm tb, skunk2 IM, mugen chipped ecu) that still need to be put in..
I would like to see the power of the new cams but I won't push it if it's too risky without dyno-tuning..
Thanks

They have about 11 mm lift which is considered low compared to all the other big cams out there, but they have a lot more duration which keeps the valve open longer. I got 14hp up top and almost 20 in the midrange from these cams.
You can put them at +4,0 to get you started. They're much more aggressive than CTR cams.
Depending if you use the Skunk ecu or not you'll need to lean or add more fuel with the VAFC. These cams make peak power at around 8600. Put your fuel pressure at 50psi. Yea you'll definitely have to bring it to a dyno with a air fuel meter to dial those things in right.
