yes this sound stupid, and your gonna wonder why, reason is, my car burns a bit to much oil for me, by a bit much i mean half a quart a week, and i am in the position that i am able to get a low mile b16a2 short block i beleive, it has no head or oil pan, and probally other little things are missing, my question is, will my head bolt right up? and oil pan? will there be any that wont fit, by the way, my current motor is jdm 96 itr motor, thanks for the useful information you are going to leave
Instead of doing all that work to downgrade why dont you just save up a little bit, do all the work on your ITR motor, instead of your B16. Strip down the motor, check your rings, seals, etc. etc. etc. I would suggest you do that, rather than swap everything into the B16 block.

i aggree with EVIL, just find the problem with your B18, and maby you could upgrade the broken parts. that's what i would do...your going to be dissapointed going from the torque of a B18 to a B16.
Or he can just get the b16 block, swap everything over to make it run while in his car. While the itr short block is out, he can build it, and still have a car to drive.
