Thanks for all of the compliments. I built the entire setup myself in my garage, and Ken @ Cheapturbo.com has helped me out tremendously. It took me about 2-3 months to develop everything on nights and weekends (and between when my girlfriend got upset with me about it! -- She moved to the guest bedroom!) Ken has helped me out with turbo sizing and manifold development, and also given me some great tips on welding. Thank you very much Ken!!

Anyways, to answer some of your questions:

I am using the AEM EMS of course! The S2000 is somewhat limited for total engine control. Basically the only other option to achieve the same goal would have been to go with another total engine management solution such as Motec. The EMS is the logical conclusion as it plugs in to the stock harness, uses stock cam and crank sensors, etc, as you all know.

Traction in first and second gear is non existant. I am using CE28N's with Goodyear GSD3's (I believe.) The wheels are 9" in the rear with a 63mm offset, and the tires are 255's. Third gear and higher are good for traction, however it zips through third and fourth gear faster than a stock s2000 gets through first. Acceleration in 6th gear feels like a stock S2000 in second gear.

I have upgraded the rear differential to try and handle everything, and so far doing power sweeps have been ok. I have not launched it at this point, and I don't intend to, as I am sure it would shatter something....

I believe that the car is capable of more power on the 17 psi pass. I should be making around 475 or so. I think that a beefed up ignition system will help me as the car heated up and started to mis-fire (which is why the 463 curve is bumpy)

I don't have any video at this point.

I have actually taken the manifold and downpipe off of the car, as I intended to fix an oil leak, and I decided to make a different manifold design. I will be working on that in the next several weeks, and I think that it will help simplify things some. (coolant and oil lines all over) Also the manifold design that I have in mind should be much easier to reproduce, so I should be able to sell it after I have proven it.

I have talked with Ken about moving to a larger turbo to get a higher horsepower number, just to solidify the achievment.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks

Chris

Why didnt you click the compressor housing so the IC piping wasnt as such an extreme 90 degree angle?

Nice numbers for pump gas :D What does your final compression ratio work out to?

I thought this was the car ... I love it except the wing. Just not my style but to each his own.

That's kinda ridiculous, you already can't buy traction, and can't launch the car, but you're going to up the HP???

That's rice.

Albeit expnesive, tasteful rice, but it's not practical....

Let me know what you think of my arguments...

I think they suck, hah hah!

It's not really a drag racing car. The power number is an achievment, just as I described above. As far as I know, no one else has produced more rwhp in an s2000. I am always interested in pushing things further to keep it that way. Hah!

Anyways, regarding the question above, I did the AEM tuning myself.

Also, those pictures are very old, the car looks somewhat different now....
