changing the gearing on my JDM ITR gearbox
Is there an easy way to rase the gearing in my JDM ITR gearbox.
The engine and box are fitted into a mini
which is running on 14inch wheels. This makes the gearing very low.
Is there another gearbox i could use to up the gearing or is there aftermaket parts to do it?

Well, what's happening is that your final drive is effectively raised because of the small tires..... Have you thought about going with 15" tires? 205/50/15 or 225/50/15 would help out in the traction department (as well as the "gearing").
Otherwise, maybe you could use a usdm final drive which is 4.4 as opposed to your 4.785. Heck, I'd even trade you straight up. Whatcha think?

14inch wheels are as big as i can get on my mini cooper.
as for the usdm final drive it sounds like good idea. will be taking the box apart over the winter.
