koni yello with sleeved coilovers.(skunk2,gc) or
springs.(you can pick..)
i guess that would fit on your price range.mugen suspension only drops 1.4 all around..

Save up the extra money and get something worth the cash. You pay for what you get. Why settle for the Tein SS, go for the Tein Flex. Well worth the money and you will not regret it.

I agree completely. I have the Tein S-tech springs on stock shocks and they are a little bouncy. Now I have my eyes on the Mugen sport susp kit...Only 1,000.00 and the Tein SS dampers. The cool thing is the Teins can be controled one day with the EDFC if you chose.
Good Luck

Mugen Sport Suspension for everyday, no problems, nice ride. To compare something I saw the other day. I was watching my customer's RSX with Mugen Sport Suspension and a RSX with Skunk Sleeveovers (stock shocks), the back end of the Skunked RSX was bouncy as hell, while the Mugened RSX was balanced and firm on the road. This was going up Skyline Drive in VA, a nice mountain road. You could totally tell who had a proper setup for suspension. Get something that is "matched" and will work together, a complete coilover setup. You won't regret the Mugen suspension one bit. It also balances the tie rods properly.

damn edfc is overrated imo. just get up. open hood and trunk/hatch then adjust it.
5 minute work
cant even use edfc with tein basic and ss.

i previously used the skunk2 coilovers and just replaced them for the TEIN FLEX and i can say that it is worth every penny. The Skunk2 coilovers were OK but they blew my shocks! Thanks for the recommendation (f1nal zeros)
yup...get some real COILOVERS..not sleeves and struts like i did. I had the ground control and koni yellow set-up and i wasn't satisfied. Now that i have the b&g coilovers..i love it...and yes, you do get what you pay for!!
JIC FLT-A2's....although I have Tein, its over-rated..I know plenty that have had to have their Teins reserviced because they got softer over time....when i decide to replace my Teins i'll prolly choose either the JIC's or maybe the Toda Fightex if they give it to me for a lil over 2k....
Ive rode around in a rsx type s with just h&r springs on stock shocks and it seems to be just fine if you're looking to just lower it on a budget. Be sure to save up for the camber kit and alignment since it usually costs more all together compared to just the springs.
question:
1. do u guys think the spoon spring is good?
2. y get coilovers? y get spring? which one is better?
3. what is the best spring for RSX?
4. what is the best coilover for RSX?

Spoon springs are known for a good spring rate for "novice to nov-intermediate" use for track event.
Coilovers are better as the spring and shock are tuned for each other. If you only get springs, you will end up blowing your stock shocks after a short period of time. Thus you having to spend more money later for a better setup.
Best Coilover... TEIN, MUGEN, ZEAL, JIC... whatever is in your budget. If you don't need adjustablilty, get the Mugen Sport Suspension. It leaves out the guessing game on how low to lower your EP/DC5. Thus reducing further damage to possible improper lowering on your tie rods.
