Hah... too bad I didn't see this yesterday. We just litteraly threw away 3 CRX D16A longblocks today (and 4 HF, along with other misc crap) since we were moving all day into our new shop. I can see if we have anymore when we clean the rest out tomorrow... if we do, you can have it for free and pay for shipping .

why would you just throw away engines?

Not "throw away" but we took it to the recycling yard, and they gave us $.39 a pound for each motor . To us, it's extra space and crap to house at our shop and we normally get rid of our SOHC motors that have "no use" for our applications. Sure there are those you can use these, so the left over motors we have find a new home to people who need them. If somebody can use it, then take it... but for us to sit on it and house it takes up too much of our resources and takes away from other things.

I'll check tomorrow... I know we still have an HF longblock but I'l check on the D16 longblocks.

I've got a D16A6 out of a 1991 Civic Si, motor is complete. Fresh distributor cap and ignition coil, but no wiring harness. I can give you an extra one I have that should work, it was a harness for a B16A in an 85 CRX Si. I basically took the VTEC plugs off of it and added them to the D16 harness. No idea about mileage, it burned about a quart of oil every 3000 miles, no oil leaks. Let me know, I'm in Greensboro. The motor has only been out of the car for about 10 days.

i can vouch for Patch and this motor...i have driven and ridden in it many times and the condition of it is exact to the description above...me and pat pulled the engine ourselves.
