Default When did they start putting Vtech Engines in Civic Si Coupes?

When exactly did they start putting Vtech Engines in Civic SI Coupes? From my general knowledge I was under the impression it was 1994 when the SI Coupe's starting coming out with Vtech Engines.

I have a 1993 Civic SI..Non-Vtech. 1.6 Litre SOHC Obviously.

SOme guy here at work says they made All Civic SI's with Vtech motors starting in 1992. Am I wrong?

VTEC
VTECH is a brand of phone (someone has the pic)
VTEC is just a tad more Honda related.
To answer your question...in '99 they put the B16's into the coupes but they have been in other Japanese Honda's for quite a few years if I am not mistaken.
EDIT: SOHC VTEC motors came in in '92 I believe.

Canadians suck

Canada does have SI Hatchbacks Sohc VTEC D16Z6 in 1992 - 1995
Coupe Si with the same engine started in 1993

Then B16 Dohc vtec is SIR which is in year 1999 i think??
