HID + H1 Projector
I'm trying to get a set of projector headlight with H1 bulb for my 94 Accord. Just wonder what brand you guys recommend. Also, I'm currently using a 9006 HID kit with stock headlight. Can I use the bulb back without getting a new H1 bulb?
Personally I wouldn't recommend projector headlights b/c light output is terrible. But if you really insist on gettin the projectors, PIAA make some alright bulbs. Be aware that projector light bulbs can sometimes blow out quick. No you can't use the HID kit bulb with your H1 projectors b/c it won't fit. In my opinion you would be better off sticking with your HID kit.
Are you talking out of your ***? Projectors made for HIDs output the light PERFECTLY. Unlike stock halogen housings which glare and put most of the light output into the skies. Which is the reason HIDs are no longer sold anymore (Catz etc etc)
Retrofitting with HID projectors is your best bet for useable light output.

I think Andy4dtw & brian2903 were referring to aftermarket projectors not HID projectors. If i read correctly. I could be wrong
But yea Catz doesnt make anymore aftermarket HID kits, only replacement components. But xenondepot.com has aftermarket kits.
