Default auto tranny questions....again

This auto tranny problem I've been having is coming and going. My car does have 200k on it (just turned it yesterday) but it's mostly NorCal freeway driving.

The thing is, is that it shifts funny in the lowest gears, like going from a light. Short of replacing it, is there anything else I can do?

I've flushed out the fluid repeatedly. This time I think I overfilled it by 1/4 a quart. Now, I know overfilling it is bad, but I wasn't having the shifting problem before I changed the fluid (honda ATF) and now it's kicking in. Drop the 1/4 qt of fluid and check it again?

Are Powerflushes doable on hondas, providing I provide the honda ATF. Honda says no, but have people done it to solve a shifting problem like mine?

The whole rest on the car is in good shape, and I only need it to last another year or so, so I'm trying to do anything to save the expense in replacing the trans..Help!!!

200K on your tranny? damn thats a lot of driving. if i had the funds i would replace it. im assuming you dont
the best bet is drive it till it dies. i think. flushing or replacing your tranny fluid the easy way "drop and refil"
only replaces about 2.5 qt out of maybe 10 qt it may be inside it. so old fluid will probably still be inside.
meaning 1 D&R wont do much unless you do it more than once, like you already have. if you're worried
about it shifting harshly theres nothing to worry about. auto trannies usualy shift harder with age.
why not take it to those tranny guys and get an internal diganostic?
i dont know what else to tell you.

if the tranny fluid wasn't changed for a long time and then you changed it, it could have messed up the tranny. i have always been told with an automatic you either change it regularly or never change it at all.

I've been told that as well but I change it regularly. I'm going to go and drop a little of the excess I put in there to see if that helps. It's strange because it was working crappy, then it was working pretty good, now crappy again.
