Default MY BUILT H22 SETUP

Ok here is the setup I"m going to build over the winter. Please chim in if you have any feedback that can help. And I also included in the horsepower goal also and the break down of it all. This is going to be a JDM h22 by the way. The motor is going to be kind of rebuilt
stock 160-165 whp (10.6 compression)
type-s pistons 165-170 (11.1 compression) with eagle rods
mugen headgasket 170-175 (11.4-11.5 compression)
an-r or 10-94 header 190-195
custom 2.5 exhaust 195-205
intake 205-209whp *with tuning*
This doesn't seem unresonable horespower goal does it. I will eventually put Jun cams in it after this year of college is over. Any insight or suggestion would be helpful.

Sounds like a nice setup bro, but In order to get to your goal of 205-209, you'll need a little more work.

Once you get your cams and headwork, you'll be on your way.

You are going to need cams, cam gears, tb, vafc or hondata to get those numbers. I made 209 recently with a similar setup.

I don't know guys I think thats all I"m going to need to crack 200whp. It's really not that hard, just have to find the right parts to completment each other. But I know you guys know also because you already built your motor so..... will have to see.

i made 203.8whp and 158tq with just bolt ons, mild port work w/ stock cams and stock bottom end. I have yet to tune the ecu to this setup...could probably make a bit more power w/ a tuned ecu.

I'm not sure, but I think that he put down the 203.8 with an open race header and some port and poish work.
