So basically you're asking if you can be light, without looking light?
Not a chance. Honda makes their cars about just as light as possible. Its very difficult to get rid of weight on a Honda without rub a dub dubin'. Removing the bumper supports ditch lots of wieght, as well as all the undercoat and the windows. The dash, the seats, the spare, the jack, all that **** in the trunk (spare cover).

My eg cx weighs 2200 with me in it, b series motor front and rear integra brakes and suspension, full tank of gas and heavy wheels.

I removed underhood a/c, no p/s, took out carpet, rear plastic panels, passenger seat, and back seats and spare. I ditched the srs wheel for a sparco one that weighs 5lbs with the quick release attached. I was also running a short pipe that dumped under the back seat area.

With all the interior still intact, and 1/2 tank of gas it was 2160 without me, so it would be 2330 with me.

I'm hoping that with the new d-series motor in and lighter wheels I'll be around 1900 without me, before cage.

Heres the list..

Free:
-Cut off the radiator support custom fab a couple bars/brackets to hold the radiator/bumper.

-Gut the doors(cutting the metal supports and all extra metal, put panel back on.

-Gut the hatch/trunk put the panels back on

-Remove bumper supports

-Cut out the rear tub that holds the spare, rivet some sheet metal in place.

Some $$ needed:
-Bucket seats help have a few pounds.

-Fiber glass/cf: fenders, hood, doors, hatch

the next step for me is the doors... if you cut all the metal from the inside of the door, the windo will not operate, correct? At that point you'd have to screw the window up, or remove it. Any ways around that?

I think so, you just need to cut them out.

Just drop you car off in Compton C.A. at 94th and Hoover for one night and your car will be totally stripped. The next morning you might have a little extra weight but just kick the bum, crackhead or hooker out that used your car for a overnight motel.
