i just got a new sub, and went to put it in before i goto work today. when i open the trunk, amp was ripped out. also my apexi boost guage gone. but thats it. this is 4th time i got robbed in a 1.5yr period. (1@house, 2@sentra, and now 1 for civic) there was no damages to my car, but seems like they got in by pushing down the window? it doesnt lay flush. they didnt take any of my other guages or ash tray money (they usually do) Im sick of Los Angeles and alll the thieves . i know i got lucky since thats all they took, but i already know how it feels to have my car stolen and stipped.

ps: just looked at the stock white hatch a few cars behind, half the dash was ripped out. good thing i had a removable unit.

 

Alarm is your friend

 

i did have an alarm, i think thats why only my amp and boost guage were stolen. other guages were in tact.

 

My cars been broken into 4 times and stolen one of those times. I've determined nothing will stop them if they really want in your car. I just took everything out of my car. Take my shift ****, radio, and ecu with me when I go anywhere. My removable steering wheel comes in next week. Not sure how to protect my mad pimp HX rims yet though.

Just weld them to the hubs

 

Fact is, nothing is if you have anything decent on the inside of your car, they'll steal it. When my car got stolen, they took my DC Sports shift ****, my radar detector, my Rand McNally Road Atlas, an umbrella, a pair of gloves, tools, and my torque wrench. Now, I don't keep anything of value in the car – alarm or not.

 

If the wheels in your avatar are yours, you at least don't have to worry about those getting stolen
