I am pretty shure you will need an adpater to put the wilwood calipers on your car. Check out http://www.fastbrakes.com , he uses wilwood four piston calipers in his kits and has a brake kit to fit under most 15 inch rims.

as what keith said....YOU WILL NEED A BRACKET by fastbrakes to get any wilwood caliper to fit on your car!
your best bet would be to go with the wilwood bigbrake front upgrade....they will fit behind 15inch wheels...although you may need to use wheel spacers

I realize you said you didn't want to change the rotors but... FWIW, you can buy the bracket and calipers that Wilwood uses in their brake upgrade separately from Summit Racing. The Summit part numbers are as follows:
WIL-250-6289 bracket $34.69 X 2
WIL-120-7581 caliper $166.99 X2
The prices for Wilwood calipers has really gone up in the last couple years. They used to be only $109! Unfortunately though, Wilwood uses a 12.1" disc. Don't know if this will help but more options the better!

I think he doesn't want to change the rotors because he doesn't want to change the rims.
The Wilwood-Wilwood brackets will space the calipers expecting the 12.1" disc, so they won't grab a stock rotor all that well (comletely). And that kit won't fit 15" rims anyways. I knew someone who tried that kit (after asking Wilwood who said it would) and it looked like it needed at least 17" rim minimum. Remember the caliper is the farthest thing out on the assembly, so that hits first.
The Fastbrake-Wilwood bracket spaces the caliper for an ~11.1" disc. That has a good chance of fitting a 15" rim depending on spoke design and offset. For example the Kosei K1 15x7 et?mm and most Rota 15x6.5 et40mm (not the "Sporks", aka Slipstreams though) clear without spacers. Others need a mild spacer, usually 5-10mm.
If you use the Fastbrake adapter, you should use the rotor options he specs. or you'll end up stradling the stock rotor. Even if you got it centered over the stock rotor, it would probably overwhelm it since its thinner and smaller diameter (less heat sink capacity).

I've seen billet Dynalite calipers (not the single, not the bridge bolt, the cotter pin style that come in the kit) go for as low as $114 new. You just have to shop around...
Price has gone up, though.

Has anyone actually tried it? I studied the wheel clearance diagram that Wilwood provides for this kit, and measured the insides of my 15" OEM wheels (the '98 GS-R, '00-'01 LS type) and they don't look like they'll fit at all.

The Wilwood kit will not fit under 15's. What Chad ran was the fastbrakes - http://www.fastbrakes.com/home/ - kit which is designed to fit under 15" wheels. I don't think he was very happy with them though. For that amount of money, I'd just run GSR or ITR brakes, or some ITR calipers with large rotors drilled for 4-lug.
Even the fastbrakes kit won't fit under most OEM 15's though. You'll need to run a spacer of about 5mm to clear the caliper. Aftermarket wheels 6.5" or wider should clear fine though.

however, the wilwood big brake kit will fit under most rota 16's. i had this kit on my EK with 16" C8's (very close fit). i loved that brake kit, might end up getting one for the sol.

What did he not like about the Wilwoods? I'm hearing a lot of glowing reviews of them, and also a lot of reports of unhappy customers.
One big problem with the OEM calipers is their weight; it's been pointed out here I think that the Wilwood set (or probably any aftermarket forged aluminum caliper set) reduces the unsprung mass a good 14 lbs. And $605 seems like a great price to me, though the Fastbrakes kit I think costs a lot more for some reason.
What are the disadvantages to using wheel spacers?

I don't know... maybe he'll eventually see this thread.
Keep in mind though, that he's racing with the car. The feedback you'll receive in the RR/AC forum will be entirely different from the civic/integra forum... it all depends on what you're using them for.

The 10.2" kit is a great option. I first asked Btian about doing the kit over 2 years agoa nd had the first prototype kit on my car and then the kit with a few modifications to fit perfect. I sold the car and again have the kit on my new Del Sol. It fits well behind most Rotas and is an easy fit with 7" wheels. It will also work with factory Del sol VTEC rims, the skinny spoked ones. Brian offers great products that we would not normaly be able to get. I am now moving up to a 2 peice rotor and his rear kit, so if anyone is interrsted my 10.2" kit will be on sale in the near future.
That 10.2" kit sound pretty nice. I'll have to see if Fastbrakes will sell just the brackets from that kit. It looks like it woul be perfect for the street so I can run 14's again!
Are there any special mods you need to do with it? I've heard that with their 15" kits you must use spacers and longer wheel studs. That doesn't sound like fun to me...

Caliper space with Kantana 16" 10spoke wheels.

16"

wilwoods in 15" rotas. yes, i had to run spacers
MY Final Impression (8/1/03):
Well, I got rid of them. They caused entirely too much stress regarding the bleeder screws. The brake pedal never felt as confident as it did with the OEM calipers. So, without further adue, pros and cons:
Pros:
- NEVER, and I mean, NEVER faded.
- Brake pads were very very easy to change
- lighter than stock
- High performance pads were $50/set
- They have the "bling bling" effect, ie, look better than stock
Cons:
- Bleeder screws. They suck. They strip out too easily and don't seat properly after bleeding the brakes after 20 times (which you HAVE to do)
- Brake squeal.
- you HAVE to run 15" wheels or bigger
- Can't pick up brake pads locally (for Vegas anyways)
- Harder to modulate than OEM, but this could be combined with the booster/MC setup, as well as brake pad materials.

wow, what civic do you have? Dunno about the 92-95 Si/EX but my DX only has 9.5" brakes. Not all civics had 10.2" brakes, actually only a very small portion probably do. As long as the caliper mounting bolts are in the same places i guess it's ok. Brian would be the one to ask.
