Default Built NA motor+Boost?

I'm considering either building a b16 or b18c, I would like to add some ctr/itr pistons(what does it take to put these into those engines?) to up the compression. I would also like to add some skunk 2 cams and upgrade the valvetrain(would these be to agressive for the compression?) So what im trying to do is build a respectable NA motor. What i'm wondering, is if later on if I want to add a turbo or supercharger, will all the NA component be okay with the boost? I know I wouldnt be able to run very much boost, but would the cams work well with the boost or what? Thanks.

Decide whether you want to run all motor or forced induction first. Then build your motor accordingly

CTR/ITR pistons are cast and high compression, so they do not work with boost. Plus the big cams with lots of overlap will allow boost to go in the intake valve and out the exhaust valves while they are overlapped..

yea, I wish I could make up my mind. I mean, people have boosted type r's. So should I just switch to a less aggressive cam like a type r cam or something?

boosted type r s are a fun motor, they just dont last that long unless they are tuned very well or they have some replaced pistons in them, the cams would be ok, but the compression and reliability is going to be the issue with what you are talkin about , builidng a motor for n/a is way different then going for boost....

i suggest you look up some threads on na vs boost and make a decision, i can guarantee you that trying to do both, will equate to you not succeeding in either...

big cams, high compression for all motor...
low compression, small cams for boost...
plus head porting is different
you'd have to buy a header, later to have to buy a turbo manifold
different clutch needs
different intake manifold and tb choices..

trust me. pick one.
