im in a debate right now with a coworker and im on the east coast so emailing newman will do me no good right now. i was wondering if anyone knew how much the carbon fiber hoods from JDMSHIT weight? i was thinking about 5-10 lbs is that too light? i mean it feels really light compared to the OEM hood

 

I'd like to know since the prices are low now and I had thought about getting one, but it looks to be fiberglass with a cf layer on top.... not known for being the lightest of construction.

im talking about the actual hood from JDMSHIT.COM. i bought their hood and got in a week. it is a great hood and is really light weight. much lighter tha my freinds hood that has a VIS hood. the quality is really nice and fitment is good. but i want to know the actual weight of the hood. i cant exactly take it off right now and was wonderng if anyone had the same hood as me and ever weighted it ir knew the weight

you can just get a skin too. You wouldn't even have to paint it and it would stay with the sleeper theme.

Hey!! you know if JDMshit cb hood has uv rays protect coated?? I was about to get one too, do you think its worth the money?? Whats your thoughts on the JDMshit cb hood compares to VIS cb hood??

wel yes they come predrilled with holes. unfortunately i have bad news the holes are just what they are holes. they are too small. i could not fit my oem washer things in them. i would have to drill them out bigger but i decided to leave them out i never use them anyways, and the holes for the hood props are not predrilled. the spots for them are there but they are filled or covered up. i had to use a dremmel to cut my holes out for my hood prop. other than that great hood.
