Default 53 whp on your rsx without force induction

Hey people i was reading this magazine and i found the website for it. i think this is a good amount of "53 whp" without using forced induction. the only thing they used from other companies was the injen intake and the mugen sports exhaust system. they used here own headers or exhaust manifold. then they add there Engine kit which has toda spec A camshafts, toda uprated valve spring kit, and the ecu which we sen i so they can reflash it with new fuel and ignition maps, 9,000rpm redline, modified vtec activation, and modified vvt camshaft timing. no additional dyno time is needed since the ecu will be tuned specificaly fo he toda engine kit.

toda has been a long time tuner of japanese automobiles and races in the N1 series in japan.....the kit you are talking about cost roughly $3,000. its been out for a number of months know and i actually know of a guy in nashville tennessee that has nearly a full toda sponsership.....and it drives like it has 53 extra hp thats for shure!

well not really, do you notice the 51 hp gain! 137 to 186.....

and yes those are pretty low numbers, but given the weather and other mods done.... you get the picture

how bout Charlotte , NC ?

talk to B18cxR , P1 auto.com

....and those numbers are kinda low due to the real dyno aka Mustang dyno.

add about 12% to them to get to Dynojet numbers.

Yea for like 10,000 or so for the K24 package,
the K20 package is 7,500 just purchased. and like 10,000 installed. But I think its worth the $$$$, its everything....Intake manifold, header, engine work, full 3.0" exhaust, +, +, and the works....Good for @260-275 wheel hp.

Hytech has not yet made 300whp

He made 262hp and wants $10,000 for it. Plus I've heard the car idles like **** and drivability isn't that great.

The TODA kit makes 225whp. If you add pistons, rod, headwork, to the TODA kit, you'll be making the same power as Hytech. So what Hytech did isn't astonishing or amazing, he just built the whole motor. You can do the same.

This is from the rsx-tuners web site http://www.rsx-tuners.com
http://www.rsx-tuners.com/prod....html
The K20 kit is @260-270 wheel hp, the K24 kit is @300 wheel hp.

That is a good question, I thought to Toda kit upped it to 9,200 or so. Could have been that power tapered off at a lower rpm???

Im not Jack, but that is my car. There wasnt a need to rev any higher because the itr manifold was absent at dyno time. The itr manifold is installed now and believe me, the car makes power all the way to the 9000rpm rev limiter!

As for where to have the kit installed. P1(Jack/Yack and the whole crew) is excellent , and its practically in your backyard! I drove 9hrs to have the kit installed and will definately be traveling there again in the near future.
