better power than the stock intake....

but I still prefer my AEM....

Get the EK box and you'll be fine for fitment.... and how are you making these? Or did anybody figure it out and just started copying their designs with sheet aluminum/brackets?

I'm pretty sure you don't have enough room in the DC2 for the EK box; the EK box will fit in the EG (ask Rodney)

Its not a bad intake but for the Money I'd definately purchase the Mugen Airbox over it. Gains with the ARC are minimal, Mugen has a Much higher gain than any of the intakes out there.

Had the ARC, as well as Icebox, AEM, Filter on a stick, and a few mixes of intakes. Settled on the Mugen intake, couldn't be happier.

yes, yes it does...

jfyi, replacing the standard restrictive as fugg ARC filter elements with k&n's makes a massive difference in throttle response. i have yet to redyno, but the buttdyno shows equal if not better results than the aem.

I have an AEM right now. I hear that cold air intakes take a while to get going. I want to have better throtle response. And I was just wondering how the ARC compares to teh AEM CAI?

Even though people have said the Super Induction chamber doesn't make any power, it still looks cool as hell!!!

I still want one!!!

I'm not so sure about that...ask Rodney how much power he puts down...

The chamber really sharpens throttle response

Not performance wise, When I was dyno testing intakes I found that the Main power robber in the ARC system was their Intake Tube (chamber). It made Stock, ARC, Mugen and Comptech Airboxes lose power Vs those pieces with the OEM Intake pipe.

Testing intakes on a dyno with no wind tunnel = useless

Well of course not completly useless, but it does not simulate real driving condtions in which there is actual air velocity.
