Default I don't understand some things about OBD

Say I put in a d16z6 in my 90 si and didn't want a vtec controller. What else could I do? I want my car to run just like a normal 92-95 si.

Well if you want it to run like a 92-95 your going to have to go OBD-1 do a search for the conversion its not very hard to do with the conversion harness that you can get for it.
