Default About Tires Sizes and stuff

I'm not really sure whats the first number and the middle number on the tires mean. I know the last number is the rim size. I'm riding on the stock factory gsr rims 01. What kind of tires recommend for these rims?? Need tires that are good for daily street driven and for all seaons tires. Thanks for the help.

First # is width in millimeters. Second number is the side height expressed as a percentage of the width.

You have 195/55/15's which are 195mm wide and with a 55% profile. 205/50/15's are a good step up...they are wider with a slightly smaller side profile (~7.5mm smaller, not enough to significantly mess up the speedometer).

There's lots more tires in 205/50 than 195/55. The Dunlop SP5000 is a frequently recommended all-season performance tire in this size.
