Anyone have a CTR REAR sway bar on an EK?
I'm just wondering how I'm going to mount this... as far as a subframe reinforcement kit.
Beaks will work, but I think it's going to push the bar out too far. Anyone use the Beaks kit without the spacer (between the d-bracket and subframe)?
fyi, CTR rear bar and ITR rear bar are shaped different.
And I know Mugen has a kit, but I'm not sure if i want to spend the $$$ on that.

The difference between the two bars is how far the enlinks are pushed out... which is why there is a spacer on the beaks kit. To compensate for that. With the ctr bar, it sits more flush with the subframe. So, in order to run it, I'm going to need to mount the d-brackets directly to the frame and have half beaks kit on the other side. Make sense?
So, I'm not sure if the bsq kit is going to make much of a difference in that respect..

when i was doing some research on itr and ctr sway bar,,,i noticed the same thing when i looked at my sway bar (CTR) and ITR sway bars...like on beaks's website.
I will take some more pics along with a "BSQ" kit for EKs and post them. I just wanted to know if want fowler. says is true.
after all, it needs reinforcement in the back part of the subframe, not the front right???
