first, click the search button and do a bunch of searches that are not very specific.

second, i would suggest you get a used d16z6 or d16y8 for around 500 bucks and go turbo. sohc turbo is the way to go if your on a budget.

or just be slow for awhile and save your money for a good turbo setup or a swap.

Save your money and write up a detailed plan so you don't end up spending money on things you won't need/want later. A good steering wheel, shift **** and seats will make any car a helluva lot better. Suspension work makes your car more fun to drive (when done correctly), ignition upgrades can be moved over to a swap (MSD stuff), as well as a nice exhaust system.

Wheels and good tires, sound systems, fuel system mods, etc. Don't get in a hurry: that's what causes the most problems.

got the same car. just its 93. this is what i have done so far and what my plans are:

RSR springs & ITR shocks with ITR LCA's - GET THESE!!! they are the best combo i have found to date! ride is solid!!!

and for engine, if i could go back, i would save up for a cheep b16 swap, and chill with that for a while, then buy an ls block and abuch of other **** and go ls/vtec.

exactly. take your time and save your money. figure out what you want out of your car (drag, autox, show, street, etc). then make a good plan to get there and a sheet that lists everything you will need. logically prioritize your mods so you dont have a car that runs 11's but cant stop for ****.

patience is key - dont learn the hard way like most have.
