I would imagine so because the CTR is just a destroked ITR.

 

Actually, it was my understanding that the CTR retained the cast-iron manifold similar to that found on the 96-spec ITR, while the 98-spec ITR switched to the tubular "header" that we're all familiar with.

ctr=4-2-1 design with 2.5 inch collector.
itr (jdm)= 4-1 with 2.5 inch collector
itr usdm= 4-2-1 2.25 collector

Just a slight correction - USDM ITR manifolds have 2.00" collectors (actually much smaller internally due to the "anti-reversion" inner piece), not 2.25".

Yes.

 

96 spec itr header is also 2.5 but with te 4-2-1 design so someone saying that the ctr has the 96 spec itr header could be correct.
