Duplicolor Metalcast Paint mini-writeup
Since I was tired of looking at my rusty VTEC solonoid, and scratched up plug wire cover I decided I need to resurface them and fix em up.
I decided to go with Duplicolor Metalcast from Autozone for $21.99. I bought 3 cans total (Adhesion Promoter, Base Coat, Blue Color)
Spray on two coats from each can, while allowing adequate drying time in between and you're done. Let the parts dry and put them on your car.
If you have a metal peice and you're patient at sanding, you can sand/clean the peice then skip the base coat and just use the adhesion promoter + the color spray to get an anodized look.
I think the base silver coat would be good for restoring rusty/oxidized parts without making them look flashy.
Let me know what you think of the blue look I created.

Thanks, it was blotchy. That's what I get for spray-painting off my apartment balcony in the rain. When the light hits it, it becomes several shades of shiny blue.

Nope, not over the stock crinkle. I would just clean up what you have or just spray some hi-temp paint from autozone on it.
