Default Blitz SUS filter and the Tornado

Has anyone on this board ever used this filter. If so what are the gains of this filter on a hondaI guess its like 180 bucks for it. I was reading through some old mags and i seen that a Skyline Gained 38 WHP and 32 ft lbs of torqe.

Also i know its gonna sound gay but the Tornado. i know alot of you have seen the info on it on tv at some point and time. I came across a dyno result that a 99 civic with the 1.5 gained 20 HP and was up to 40 MPG. has any one used one of these in there car for ***** and giggles?

Somewhere out there is a website devoted to an air filter test. I think I remember the Blitz not having the best filtering properties compared to others. Can't remember gains.

Keep in mind that what an air filter does on a massive twin turbo monster motor vs. on an NA Honda motor will be very different. Freeing up the breathing on a turbo car produces much bigger results than on an NA car (especially on that is internally stock).

As for the Tornado--straight up garbage. SCC did a feature on it a few years ago and proved what everyone knew all along--completely bogus.

hope this helps...
